Don't you feel safe?
For the first time in history, a country has more than 1% of its adult population in prison.And that country, dear readers, is The United States, as reported by The Correctional News, a trade magazine for the prison industry.
Do you think maybe that there is a trade magazine for the prison industry has anything to do with this fact? Think about it: there are annual trade shows for the prison industry, where they get together to figure out how to increase profits.
No, that can't be related.
